Clay Studio Director Tung Chiang’s husband John is a talented potter in his own right, and this large serving bowl is based on a piece he threw for Tung. Tung and his team have reimagined the original design with a new, Clay Studio-exclusive glaze technique. Three glazes are layered on the bowl's surface, then a wire comb is gently dragged through them to reveal thin lines of color underneath. The resulting pattern on each piece is unique.
