This cup also expresses the sand pattern when?flounders lurk on the seabed of sandy areas.

Mackerel (Blue/Green): 7.4 cm diameter. 4.4 cm height, 50 ml

It?is made with the image of a mackerel called HACHINOHE MAEOKI SABA(八戸前沖鯖), which can be found in Aomori prefecture.
The design, which is made by kneading multiple coloured glasses, represents the pattern on the mackerel's back. It is a three-dimensional and deeply drawn design

Tuna (Purple): 6.5 cm diameter, 5.1 cm height, 75 ml

Oma tuna(大間のマグロ) is called a black diamond. Natural bluefin tuna landed in the Tsugaru Straits(津軽海峡) on the Shimokita Peninsula(下北半島) in Aomori Prefecture.
This sake cup expresses the glossy and deep colour of the back part of Oma Tuna.

As the whole piece is handmade in Japan, slight irregularities in size, glaze, colour and texture might occur and reflect the nature of the artisan product.
